the 2022 zine (volume four) is our first of three leaf editions–leaflets, if you will–each of which will feature the community work of flower city noire collective, created in joyful collaboration with the local ethnography and archiving fellowship at the university of rochester.

this zine is a profile of flower city noire collective and documents the 2022 juneteenth community garden build that leaf fellows participated in. as always, beautiful illustration and design by miguel a. cardona. and very special thanks to mitch cohen at flower city arts center!

we officially launched noire iv on february 17th during flower city noire collective’s black femme book week. you can also find us at the rit zine fest on march 31st!
